How Team Will-Cure will be Supporting Our Mission, Our Dream
The Will-Cure Team is proud to be participating in this year’s 2017 Bank of America Chicago Marathon. We welcome you to join and support our amazing Will-Cure Team as we raise awareness and funds for Myotubular Myopathy.
Where There’s a Will There’s a Cure (Will-Cure) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization with the sole purpose of raising funds to support medical research for Myotubular Myopathy. Myotubular Myopathy is a rare genetic disease with clinical manifestations of severe muscle weakness. Although there are variants, most children affected will never crawl or walk and will require breathing assistance.
MTM children may not have the muscle strength to run in a marathon, but like those running for Will-Cure, they have extreme stamina and are not afraid of challenges.
Our dream is to find a cure and we need your help. Any support you can provide can truly make a difference. Researchers have conducted promising pre-clinical trials research for potential treatments for Myotubular Myopathy. Your donation will go toward the funding needed to advance this medical research. We are excited to be at the doorstep of new hope for our children and families affected by this disease. But your help is crucial. We invite you to join in our efforts and contribute in any way possible.

Information on the Bank of America Chicago Marathon
Entries for the 2017 Bank of America Chicago Marathon will be available through a system of guaranteed entries and non-guaranteed drawing selected entries.
The drawing entry period will be open from November 1st to November 29th.
The fee for runners who qualify for a guaranteed entry or are selected through the drawing for the 2017 race will be $195 (USD) for U.S. residents or $220 (USD) for those residing outside of the U.S.
